Yeah, happened to me once at Donny. Ass wipe decided to pass on the inside, couldn't make the bend, wiped out the bike in front of me and then he landed on the deck. I went straight on into the gravel trap. Fortunately an ambulance had to take said ass wipe away as he was dazed and half concious on the track. Not before several of us gave him a piece of gentle advice.
 
Although I never did many laps, I must add that I never experienced anyone riding outside the rules that were clearly set out by Martin during the riders briefing.

I really thought this was one of the better track events I had attended, I never felt pressured into riding outside my comfort level and no-one showed me a wheel at any of the corners.
 
Just got back online after a weekend away from computerland. It was a great evening, not too warm, not too cold. Only a couple of mishaps, sorry Mike, I had a grandstand view, glad you're ok. I am still stiff from Friday muscles full of lactic acid!!! Pibbow looks like he's trying to impersonate Foggy with that stare in one of the images!!!

Sorry for my earlier post (which I've deleted). I was'nt there and I don't know the circumstances so in the cold light of day I think its wrong for me too post on the incident.

...can't remember what you wrote, can you write again!!! :p

...if it was about overtaking - I out-braked that cross-eyed bloke on that Ducati thing from the Island!!!!
...he'll come back and say he was in the wrong gear but I'll tell yer, I had the measure of 'im - the southern softie that he is!!!! :eek: :p :D :o

Tae print off and stick on the fridge to stop me fae fillin ma grid at midnight;)

In all seriousness i tried to get up to Knockers but was late getting home and missed you all blatting round it. Desperate to see photos of the beast in action
 
i think that i was the only one who crashed this time.....or was there another? you know what they say, if you dont fall over, youre not trying hard enough! still, i dont recommend it. i definately carried more speed into the corner than my talent would allow. thru the gravel (still upright at this point), travelling at quite some speed across the grass, thinking....one more bit of gravel then a tyre wall.......dont fancy hitting that, so like a numpty hit the front brake (ill try and remember to hit the back brake next time). down in a flash, but just collected some mud and a bent crash bung. shes as good as new after a jet wash! i was a bit stiff for a couple of days, but i can take it!
