pierobon f042 hstreet

Are they dear?
A wee bit : Price list
PF042.00.A.000.4A Frame for Supersport Airbox 3.310,68 €
PF042.00.A.500.4A Frame for Hypermotard-Sportclassic Airbox 3.552,80 €

When I was at the Nurburgring in September I looked into Ducati am Ring in Adenau who are Pierobon dealers. They had a really trick track bike with an HM1000 motor in a PF042 frame. It weighed 120kg and was putting out 105hp. That was with a Termi underseat exhaust and no other work to the engine. The guy there was confident that with a bit of tuning the bike would easily better 1 hp/kg. Very nice :)

Could you use the standard swingarm off a donor bike?

Frame, rear frame, tank and seat and donor bike and although it's not "cheap" you could have a very nice piece of kit for new Hyper/Monster money or less?

The one above looks like the swinging arm from a 696/796 Monster. I would imagine that an SS swinging arm could also be adapted.

You should have a look at the Pierobon website Stewart. Click on Ducati Vintage Frames - then say goodbye to your retirement savings :D

Once I win the Goldie in the VMCC raffle next week I will see if they are up for swapsies..

Stewart,
Check out the Projekte links in the LH side bar from this page. You will need to use Google translate to make the best of them.
How to build a project bike when money is no object! :)

First glance looked like the swingarm on my aircooled SS project but it's not.
Looks like the SSie one from your link Martin.
Shock position I see has changed a fair bit from the earlier Monsters.
