Thanks for the reply and the follow-up, and you’re absolutely correct to ask for confirmation given the rarity!
As you noted, Google’s automated search results—especially with AI summaries—can often get these niche details wrong. It’s simply pulling the standard catalog part number and assuming it was a single standalone product, which this wasn't.
If you look at the first image attached (the one with the pure white background), that is the exact item. I have that genuine stand right here in my inventory, and it is the correct piece of equipment.
The history on these is specific: Ducati didn't make a standalone retail paddock stand just for the Paul Smart. Instead, they developed a small, limited run of this specific OEM Ducati Performance SportClassic Rear Stand to be included with the bike as part of the initial delivery crate package in 2006.
It was designed specifically to accommodate the asymmetrical dual-sided swingarm of the Paul Smart (and Sport 1000) because standard stands often struggled to clear it properly. It's not in a catalog as an accessory because it was factory-direct equipment.
I hope this helps enlighten the topic! Since I have the real deal, we should move to email so I can send the final details.
