Cheeky monkey, what are those tyres, on a public highway ?????

Very Legal tyres

'Those slicks' are actually Michelin Pilot Race Medium compound and are highly recommended. Worn them to the edges and have done over 1000 miles on them with gentle road riding!
Looking for a good left hander now to do the other slider.

Hartside top, heading towards Alston, nice sweepy left hander you can keep yer knee on the ground all the way round :) I use Pilot Powers and they are sticky enough for road use, 2500 miles plus now and a bit left to go.

good left hander

your braver than I am , last time i went round that one at any speed there was a tractor on it and i filled me pants.
Its usually full of bloody bikers pulling out on you.

On the photo they look very erm 'non treaded' I have another set of part worns waiting to be collected, will never again buy new tyres, I reckon nearly 3K out of them, held the profile so much better than a road tyre, soft front, medium rear. Lasted better than a MPP, and free so I'm going with 'em !

tyred

are you getting free tyres from James Ellison ???

Abby just seen your picture in the gallery and likes your white boots - Erm NOT.

mid week nights, 7 - 9 PM perfect, the paramedic usually sits at the cafe just in case. Lefts OK you can see the bikes pulling out, doing it the other way is harder.

No my mate races in the NERRC or something like that, he is sponsored for tyres so I get the left overs, only used one set from him last year though !

Worth a couple of pints and some baby grows ( he won't take cash so I bought some baby clothes for his new born ) !

Marra the Dolphin

Poor thing, why oh why did it go to Maryport, could have lived happily ever after with you lot in Whitehaven, bless it, its scared of the harbour gates !

Marra the Dolphin

a guy I know from Scaryport was raging with it last week. he threw a football in the water and it didnt do one single trick with it - he said the ones at Seaworld are much smarter - I said it must be pretty thick to get stuck in maryport anyway!

left hand dolphins

after reading Gizmo and dsereds replies Ive come to the conclusion that to have any fun on our roads this summer you have to go out in the late evening when there arent any tourist / coffin dodgers / tractors on the road, and then you have to watch out for the "safety camera" vans and unmarked Plod cars !!!!

Although your neck of the woods, down to Ravenglass is good, I don't think they have any traffic Police !

Not quite, plod was on hartside a few nights this year, sat in his 4 x 4 at he top, he'd had to be there cos a driver and local residents had complained about a group of 3 w'nkers on bikes would had ripped through a village, overtaking cars as they did so the previous day. Local head plod just had to respond by demonstrating that they will do something so our fun was spoilt because of 3 donkey's, grrr:furious:
