Ohlins forks for 848...

Anyone running Ohlins forks on their 848?
I've seen some Ohlins 1098S/R forks for sale from folk upgrading their standard machines to race bikes.
I have a new DU511 Ohlins shock from a 1098S but thinking of selling on for a TTX unit with a heavier spring instead of messing with the one I have.
Still to get the bike on track but would like to do this once the suspension has been upgraded and set up correctly, possibly with some BST carbon wheels.
What's the difference between the 1098S and R forks and the really expensive R&T forks.:confused:I'm no racer but would like to improve the ride quality which isn't great at the moment unless I'm on 'billiard table' smooth tarmac!
Any input would be handy! ;)

Steve, you need to speak with Gordon on the forum, he's got a 898 that is being upgraded to 1098R spec.... he's the expert. OR, phone Stewart Miller at MPG who's doing this work for him, he's the REAL expert :D:D:D.

Hope that helps
