Norrie-San is leading me astray with a sortie to the Emerald Isle, for the UGP.

Only ever had a weekend trip to Dublin before and never ridden in Ireland so thats another tick for the bucket-list!

Cairnryan to Belfast is our route of choice but with such late planning many of the more popular lodgings have long gone but one friendly place I phoned put me onto a lovely looking lodge only 6 miles away from the event.

Apparently, Bruce Anstey is coming over to ride the Britten on a demo lap of the circuit - cant wait!

Only slight downside is being at the ferry for 7am Friday - LOL - a least from shifts I'm used to being awake early

I was just talking to my mate about this, not been for years and in my opinion it's much better than the NW200 for racing.
Might do a road trip there and back on the same "day"

Did this a few years ago (by flying to Belfast from Dundee... without the bike) and you will not be disappointed

Great racing, very friendly people, and crazy cheap into the bargain!

Ulster road race

Guys ,you are missing out on Thursday which hols practice and 4 races in afternoon, walk around the pits area ,take pics ,shop for goodies or crap. Spend Friday riding some good roads ,chill out at night and take in race on Saturday. Entry cost £25 which covers both race days ,if dry that's a bonus. Anyone wishing to check out some good riding roads just ask.
