after years of al lthe talk, i gather hes actually booked time off work

I'm booked up with Phil-the-Monster, Doug-the-ST and Kevin-the-Beemer to fly over for the day Easyjet from Glasgow for £25. Sounds like you're planning to make a weekend of it but do you want to meet up on the day to watch the action ?.

Plan is to walk up to the course from Coleraine (where we leave the hire car)and to move between various spots (Mathers, maybe Railway Corner, up on the railway bridge on the flat out run to Coleraine and just at the hard braking zone before the left-hander up to the roundabout).

Yep, a weekend we'll make of it, with a couple of sore heads flung in ;)

I'd expect to meet up for sure!
 
What's the dates and what's the agenda? fly over, stay one night and back?

Going over the Thursday 11th May. Ferry from Troon to Larne or Stranraer to Larne. Stranraer is nearer for you but its a gorgeous piece of road to Troon. Back on the Sunday. B&B looks very good. Scott says the lady erects scaffolding in her front garden to watch the racing. Cant ask for any more than that. Ferry costs roughly £80, B&B £25 per person. What da ya say???

need a job first to take time off from , its just not the same when you can do as you please :thumbs:

Scott, sorry to hear about the accommodation!. I must admit I thought it was a wee bit late in the day to get booked. Have you tried Coleraine Tourist Office ?. They will get you somewhere but it might be in the back of beyond.

Try the day trip instead and come with us by Easyjet ?. If you and Davie are both coming, though, we'll need to hire a bigger car as we've already got 4 going.

Thanks for the kind offer of joining you on the day trip, but we're wanting a bike trip too I'm affraid.

I've booked the NW much later than this before and never had any problems - looks like it will be a bumper year!

Assen here we come!
