mmm, i'd be thinking about a bimota supermono but that would be much more fun :) the perfect hartside bike :)
 
Yup, I was hoping Aprilia would be a 550 v twin road bike using the supermoto engine but that Cagiva would be almost as good. Aprilia and Cagiva are coming out with some nice stuff, the new V4 engine looks like its coming along nicely as well

As for it being a V4, I bet thats not a huge amount bigger than a single, well I mean the gap it fits in, I'm getting all giddy !

I sat on KB's Mito at Cadwell, it was the first one I had ever sat on and just loved it, a 500 thumper could be highly entertaining !
 
i loved riding Linzi's RS125, it was so light you could switch direction with just a small weight shift. Only downside was you really notice bumps at high spped, I've never thought the top of the A6 Shap was bumpy, the 999 just glides over it yet the RS was bouncing all over the road at an indicated 90 mph ( the clocks are well out honest officer :)) 130 kg/60 BHP would be well nice for around here

I was close to buying a Bimota BB1 supermono before i got the Laverda but with that available now I'm glad I didn't I might have to talk Linzi into her next bike now :)

I said it before and at the risk of being exceedingly boring, I reckon a 500/600 Ducati single would sell like hot cakes especially if priced right! I have not seen this before but this or the Bimota certainly appeals. :)
 
Wow what a great tool it would be. I always loved the Lawson replica Mito.

I reckon it won't be long before the 125 & 250cc GP classes will soon be 4 strokers. 125s; maybe 200 singles or twins and 250s; 450 twins.
I dunno, just my opinion.

Talking of 122kg & 80ish hp....at Hall Bends...

it was styled along the lines of a 916, Tamburini oversaw the project but Sergio Robbiano was mainly responsible and did the later updates, he's since moved to Bimota. the tank, seat and front fairing are almost identical to a 916.
 
OOh, according to MCN there will be a GP styled version which I'm assuming will be 593 styling, I need to pop into Duc Leeds tomorrow, wonder if they are taking deposits yet?
