Another Fleabay aquisition, and I am looking forward to turning this in to a cafe racer! :)

I am in the process of sourcing used 35mm Ceriani forks (current ones stanchions are on the weedy side) and possibly a ventilated front drum from the states. I can source tank, seat, bars, rear-sets replica Ala doro items in the uk.

Pics as the bike is now....

Remember VAT to be added and with being a race seat it may be thin, you could always beef up with a layer or two of glass fiber and resin if there is not too much happening on the other side due to having the padding fitted already. Ragged edge will layer it up when making one for you.

Thanks Sam. You could be, and probably are right. Do you know how much Ragged Edge would be for the complete covered shebang?

You've got an awful lot to do before September :D
Have you looked inside the motor yet? I don't see a magneto on it, nor a carburettor, nor brakes! Your going to have a lot of fun ;) :)

If you are looking for a better brake the cb 250/350 K2 180mm dia twin leading shoe works ok with decent linings fitted. This guy fitted the whole drum and plate I am going to machine the plate to fit the Ducati drum. Should get one for around £40 on fleabay.

Motors a runner....magneto and carb in the house and ready to go on, brake rubbers being re-lined/ replaced with something from a Kwacker (wont be seen) so that it does stop!!! Cabling to be made up, levers/grips to fit on, mudguards to silver solder a few cracks, exhaust to fit to head and mount to frame, fork springs to bolt on........just a few things to do.....a few weeks work only Derek...;) :D
