Bought a Shoei Raid II on 8th Jan 2008 on the back of the RIDE "best buy" recommendation and unfortunately used it on 1st July 2008. Full head plant on tarmac.
Apparently out cold for 2 minutes plus, ambulanced to hospital (nearly air one) but still here and back to normal (the wife doesn't agree I was normal before- a touch hard). The School of Hard Knocks says buy Shoei Raid II and save some cash.
No I don't have any shares in Shoei or stand to make any cash from saying this however if Shoei are reading this I do need a new lid. Send PM for size and colour.

Went to an AGV stockist today, S4 crumpled my ample ears :watchout:
However, tried an AGV GPtech - oh yes!! Top end of my price range ( and above it in the frustratingly appealing Barry Sheene 7 colours ), but this is the one to beat for me now. Going to try an x-lite Ago again but it looks likely to be one of these two, just depends on fit, whim, and price now 'cos I reckon they're both top lids.
