New "old" Ducati's

Picked MCN up today and browsing through BikeMart I notice DK are clearing new 03 and 04 spec bikes and also have 06 1000GT's and Smarts on offer.

Some bargains to be had if you're looking for a new ST3/4/4S, multistrada or 999S, 4999 for a "new" multi :eek: not so good when one's considering selling a 999S :mad:

don't know where these are from but I guess they must have been offered to the dealers over the years and no-ones bought them so Ducati clear them to an agent who ain't bothered where they end up :( How a limited edition bike like a Smart ended up thee i can't work out, i thought these were only made for dealer orders??
 
check back in 5 years time Ian, 03 models in mid 08??? where have they been sitting. Handy if you are looking for an ST though I don't think official dealers can get them ?
 
I was told that they were no longer building the sport classic range or the ST3 anymore as nobody was buying them:rolleyes:
 
Are they UK bikes though?
DK are 'famous' for selling grey and parallel imports.
SC's no longer made eh....that'll make me like the 'wonderful tigger':D
 
almost certainly euro spec bikes which have been job lot cleared to a big dealer or wholesaler in europe who's then moved them on, DK, KJM have all had stuff like this in the past but i was surprised to see models like ST and SC I'd have thought official dealers could sell at the right price ??
