Just in case no-one saw it in this months edition of Motorcycle Sport & Leisure this is the most recent offering from Moto Borile

It takes the rear pot from Ducati's 1100 Evo engine, fitted onto Borile's own bottom end with a balancer shaft to keep it smooth. Putting out 43 bhp with 37 b-ft of torque and weighing just 130 kg (half dry) it should surely whet the appetite of those who have been haranguing the factory for a street scrambler single.

There is also a review of the Borile B450 on Cycleworld

I had to check whether the CBG article had been 'bought-in' - mention of 'triple clamps' and the 'freeway', but no, it was Alan Cathcart wot done it and I never had him down as a Merkin.

The prototype idles at 2,200 revs, doesn't run properly and looks 'home made', the exhaust as it leaves the head looks like an afterthought and there are wires hanging out the side.

3/10 must try harder. Come back when it's finished.

The MSL article is also by Alan Cathcart, probably the very same, but does mention that the fuelling could be better and claims it is due to the oversized(?) 40.5mm ex-Ducati throttle body and that Borile are developing a 38mm one for it. He says that this is a prototype with "work in progress".
I agree it will be better when it's finished.
