Call it what they like but it never stops being same bike with different paint to spark some interest and some black ponced up bits.
Apparently the auto industry have identified the britishers as loving a "black pack" for some reason.
Some bloke will bang on about how there were only 50 made or whatever but it's not like they put an R engine in there or anything.
(bit like my Superlight - only 45 of that year in the uk, but at the end of the day it's a ponced up 900ss with a single seat and high exhausts and cast iron full floaters, its not like an 888sp5 vs a stock 888).
Same with all the bostrom reps etc etc. It's not like the old days of the SPS and the SP's for example where you got a very different machine in a very limited number, now it's just about taking the same old and putting a different coloured frock and lipstick on. Still, keeps all the varese strutting types happy.
