Paul and I are pencilled in to go to NEC possibly the Friday 30th or Saturday 1st. Anyone else planning to go or want to meet up on the day?

I promise not to scrounge anything off you! Well, not a lot! ;)

well Paul is..... :p

Of course you are guys, would be great to see you :)

Ok...give us some details...

how many coming, which days, method of travel??

Ermmmmmm.....in pencil for now.....

Think we are going to leave the Thursday evening. So we should be down say around 8ish. Thats the plan.

Do i need to pack a hairdryer?

Well Im taking the Fri off so its up to Paul what days he can get off. Thats why its a bit up in the air. Scott has bought the tickets so we are coming. Make sure the fridge is stocked up with the essentials. Blue label vodka preferred and New World red wines only ta very much. Cider as opposed to beer too. Strongbow is my choice. Im not fussy for ice as long as its well chilled :)

Does the hairdryer have a difuser? Tell me it does. Please! :D

Thanks for allowing us to stop over, I'll do my best to try to control Davie but, obviuosly, every now and again he gets off his leash. Scott can vouch that a ham sandwich, yes ham;) , not chicken or salmon, and a packet of disco crisps is all that he requires to keep him happy and quiet for an hour. After that I recommend ear plugs;) . Looking forward to catching up on saturday!

I'll be there for most of the show hidden away on the GRAVEL TRAVEL stand, T6 in the Touring and Leisure Zone. Anyone welcome to pop round for a chat, and no i won't try and sell you an off road holiday in Namibia!

For those of you who are lucky enough not to know me, i'll be the big fat bald ugly one on the stand, everyone else is fairly normal.

This is me 30 years ago, so absolutely no use for recognising me now

A young Gerry Adams is closest.

Strangely enough i'm very surprised i didn't get into huge bother looking like this, when in the late 70's when in London for the bike show at Olympia I got caught by the police climbing over one of the walls at the back of Downing Street.

This was in the days when you could actually walk down Downing Street.

The police didn't believe this drunk wasn't just trying to visit his long lost uncle Jim Calaghan or whoever was the Prime Minister at the time.

The joys of youth and beer!
