my run to crail

I didnt know if i was going to make it,so i didnt make any arrangements to meet anyone and just had a wee wander up on my lonesome.i had a wee race with a couple of wee neds in their poof chariots which was fun ,tho the wee tit in the saxo was taking too many risks for my liking, so i just let him and his boyfriend get on with it. It was at that point that i saw some old motor cracking on in front along a straight and i was doing 120 and not gaining, intrigued i set off after him and once wee got back to the bendy stuff i caught up with it, to see what was i think a late fifties bentley continental flying spur, the coupe type and i have to say the old bloke who was driving her, certainly knew what he was doing, cause the back end never stepped out once, on any of the corners and he was hustling it.
Anyway i tried to phone davie to see where everybody was but my phone packed in so i just made my way to the track.on arrival i was fleeced for a tenner, which i thought was a really fair price to stand in a field with one toilet some broken down buildings and a couple of thousand burberry wearing neds. but i thought "paid now better try and get my moneys worth.
i parked the bike and went to look at a part worn 749 that id noticed on the way up.it was ians, id missed him do his runs but the rear tyre told its own story, well caned is i think the technical term.then i went a wee wander and in the distance i saw paul, and borderduc.i couldnt see anyone else near bye who hates me/had it in for me, but, as i got closer a woman in civillian clothes started waving to me and i realised it was nic.i seriously thought about running for my life, but realised she was waving in a friendly manner, plus there was thousands of witnesses.i knew she couldnt get away with murder so i waved back then i realised davie, muppet and foxy were there as well. i reckoned if i could throw muppet and davie in front of foxy that should give me a head start if required, but foxy was waving in a friendly manner so i thought id just risk it.
On reaching them i instantly went into apology mode and done the wise thing and said i was sorry for anything id said in the past and was likely to say in the future.Nic and Foxy greeted me with a "were not talking to you" which i could understand, but they relented when they realised the alternative was talking to davie. We were all going to make our way down to the show bit, but never got that far we stopped to talk with ian and his lovely mrs and everybody explained what id missed so far which apart from ians runs down the track didnt seem to be a lot. I met derek (the font of all knowledge ducati) there as well and davie saw a wee corsa which he likened to the car ranald was using "its got the same paint scheme" said davie which was white with a blue stripe and a green stripe.Everybody told davie he was wrong, but he insisted he was right.just then ranald drove by in his green car with white bumpers.though in fairness davie was maybe a wee bit tired cause hed been putting all those clocks back for an hour, which meant taking the battery out and checking his watch for when the hour was past then putting the battery back in .
Boredom got the better of the girls and they went off, in search of entertainment, with davies request off"tell me if the max power girls are getting their kit off" while the rest off us stood and talked.
An iffy looking bloke came up to me and told me he worked for some club in dundee and he had a lithuanian stripper that was wanting to pose on a sports bike for photos and could i help her.Instantly thinking that this was a put up job by nic and foxy i put the bloke onto davie who instantly got a smile like the cheshire cat.The bloke said hed be back in a few minutes with the girl and we agreed to wait.A truck with no windows in ,which had been doing burnouts, drove past us with a couple of topless girls in it and we had to restrain davie from chasing after it.it was a hard fight but we won though i think BD got some of davies drool all over him.just about then , nic and foxy came back and having found us in the same place as theyd left us , said they had nothing to do with any set up about strippers etc.The lithuanian girl then turned up with minder in hand and started to follow davie to his bike.I will state now that she was a good looking lass and fitted well into the clothes she was almost wearing.im sure you can check the pics out from davie.we all walked down with them and i had a conversation with muppet about how she could walk in her stripper shoes, about four inch platforms with 6 inch heels, but she managed ,maybe thats what all the girls wear in lithuania. the girl straddled davies bike and davie got going with his camera, all you could see was the camera and this huge grin on davies face.our girls were like the traditional demure scottish lassies that they are and wouldnt so much as remove a glove, never mind show their nether regions and for once i was wise enough not to ask them.
Photos over and after the girl got her boobs out briefly i realised something that had happened.where davie had his bike, we were behind the crowd that was watching the racing, but, the minute the girl took her long knitted coat thingy off, we were surrounded by about 300 neds in track suits and white socks, all with cameras, taking photos off this girl .I dont know how they knew it was happening but they just appeared.
After this we headed home with nic and foxy going off in their nice warm car, derek off on his own way home, and the rest off us heading southwards together.BD was in front then me then paul and mupps and bringing up the rear was davie.all was well till after anstruther when we noticed davie seemed to be missing,we travelled on for a few miles cause there had been a lot of traffic and we thought it might just be taking him a wee while to catch up.Eventually we stopped and i drove back as far as anstruther for him but there was no sign, yes davie had got lost while following people, that mans sense of direction is unbelieveable. we gave up and headed off for home.we had a nice ride back without any close calls tho i did almost get taken out by a pheasant on a bend and i parted from paul, mupps and bd. i only live a few minutes from davie so i thought id check he`d got home alright.
Now this bit i tell it exactly as it happened. no embellishment nothing.
I parked in davies drive and davie opened the door saying "yous took the wrong way" i couldnt believe it three of us went one way him the other, who was wrong? but i quickly realised this was just a cover story, cause, then he said "ive got a dark visor and i wanted to make sure i got in before it got dark" "i got in 10 mins ago".Now all this was said by a davie only clad in his boxer shorts and t shirt and with a hankie in his hand.He invited me in for a cuppa but said he had to run upstairs for something ,by the time i got my helmet off he was back down. he made me a cup of tea abnd he says "cmon upstairs while i download the pics and we will see what theyre like. Now i had to sit on the edge of a bed while davie got the pictures on the computer.I could see davie smilling and looking at the pics reliving every moment of the girl sitting on his bike, and thought it might be wise to drink my tea quick and disappear as being trapped in a small bedroom with a horny davie is one risk i wasnt going to take.Luckily paul phoned to check davie had got home alright and he was distracted enough for me to get off home .
as for the day i enjoyed the run , the race track thingy was a bit of a waste of time unless you were actually racing and while the topless girls were nice enough to see, i was a bit surprised they were there considering how many females were there with their cars.
all in all a not bad day;)

A fantastic write up Gordon. Had me in stitches and it's all true! :lol2:
Although in Davies defense he had been asking me what time I thought it would get dark because he didn't want to get caught out with the dark visor and reckoned he'd be looking to get home early.
The look on Davie's face when the stripper turned up was worth seeing though and Davie must have taken more pictures than all the 300 neds put together.
I took a video clip of weeian's 3rd run but that's when the clutch blew - shame that ,he was enjoying himself so much too.:(
It was good day for me too except for the £10 extortion to get in which frankly was a total rip for what was on offer.
I'll be laying up the bike for the winter now and doing the service on it. So that will be me bikeless for the next 4 or 5 months.

Another hilarious episode of "Gordon's Travels" !. Yes, a tenner was a bit steep for what we saw, never mind all the distractions, up there in the East Nookie, er Neuk, of Fife. Still, it beats loafing about at home watching telly. It was only something about Valencia anyway....

what a great write up Gordon!! I think Nic and I may have forgiven you now so you should be safe from us in the future ........ not so sure you're safe from a boxer clad Davie though so take care:eek:

Some pics...best ones are at the end :D :D

crail

i went up to crail with a few mates but decided not to pay the tenner as a couple of burbury neds told us there was a poor turn out. we watched from the layby opposite the start for a bit but were obviously too far away to see the really interesting stuff !

:D
