Montjuics on eBay

the second one looks the more original and despite it not being as clean and the valve guide problem its got all the sensible mods, needle roller swingarm, inlet stubs, i'm amazed at the number of bids on the one in Durham, wrong seat unit, no fairing, brace added to forks which would need removing, other than that it is very very clean, hope i can get mine as good.

i'll be interested to see what these go for.

its not a genuine formula Steve, they are very rare but a lot of pattern body work exists so its easy to convert a monti to look like one.
 
I got all excited and hot under the coller on reading the title of this thread before I opened it up.
Thought someone was selling a Ducati F1 Montjuich on ebay - 5 figure sums me was thinking!!! :)

not disapointed though - Lav Monty is great too.:)

no mate - senial moment - I just click on 'New Posts' when I log on and see who's written what, I rarely look at the location of the thread!! :o

...I'll just shut up and head off to my daughters carol concert and nativity play!!! :)
 
phew both finished both made £3500 :eek: gotta say i don't think either is anywhere near as good a mine will be either, the better one needed a bit of engine work just to get it going and the first one was missing some parts you'd struggle to get now!. I'm off back out to the garage, more taking apart and refinishing looks like it might be worthwhile :)
 
i found out why the formula rep was sold, it went to finance this
