monster boots

My monster is in the market for some new boots and I have seen some Pirelli corsa pro on fleabay. They are 160/60 17 which is fine and 120/70 which is 10more than the recommended fitting of 120/60. if I fitted the slightly larger tyre would it make that much difference? would it be safe? would it be detrimental to the handling and would dropping the front through the forks make any compensation or difference?:dunno:

a lot of the DD riders use the larger than standard front tyre to give a more pointy profile making the bike tip into corners more/better

you could drop the forks throguh some to compensate like but id suck it and see first. i doubt i could event tell the difference if i tested back to back

Cheers Scotty,
It's probably worth a go, I just have to find out how much the tyre fitters will want now, I won't have the worry of scrubbing them in!:D

Depends what riding you are doing, I got some Diablo stradas and they seem to be very good, just scrubbed in and should last a long time too.
