Then add the DB effect (where point "A" and point "B" become separated by 5000 miles;)) and double the time, at least!

If some are meeting in Selkirk I'll probably go via this route. I'm hoping to take my monster which is going into DG Saturday for more adjustments.

So its noon at Hartside then? Scottch if you get chance (weather and time permitting) you should try and get down the other side of Hartside to Middleton in Teesdale as I would think you would like the road. Will try and get there for noon then.

Might need to make a detour to Moffat to collect someone, if they can negotiate a day pass ;)

I'm more likely to be going via Settle, Hawes and up to K Stephen, Brough, Middleton, Alston etc. Could be at Hawes for 10ish? Or could meet you at K Stephen? All weather dependant of course. Its 100 miles of mainly great b roads for me to Hartside - looking forward to it.
 
Watch the weather folks - supposedly storms heading in from the atlantic this weekend, according to yahoo :(

Davie hasn't been in any pubs yet, he's still trying to make a good impression on the in-laws!! :lol2:

...Jez, some of us have to work.
I'm stuck in the middle of Glasgow. Just woken up from a fraught sleep. I feel like I've been sleeping actually ON the M8 it's so loud here. Still - very close to DG so I'll go and give them some grief this week.
Have a good ride (or is it 'tour' of the UK if DB had his own way) :p
