The Paso, the Missus and me are off to Corfu in July 2009.

I am now looking early at the route and planning the trip so my question is any guidance on timescales, cheapest routes and places to stay.

I am also looking for Italian service points on the way just in case I have any problems that may need tweaking as parts are not that easy to get hold of.

My journey from the foot of Italy to Corfu is sorted as is my regular Hotel Accomodation.

Any ideas people? we are visiting the Factory and Museum on the outgoing route and coming back direct via the shortest.

In anticipation many thanks.

The Ducati factory and museum is well worth the trip alone. All the important bikes on display (Hailwood, Foggy, etc) and not behind glass. The factory visit was the best bit seeing the bikes being out together.

Ferrari and Lambo are nearby. Ferrari museum is poor for the history of the marque. If you do go and hope they are testing the F1 car on the est track in heart of Marinello; that's a different matter! Lambo museum and factory is by invite so you need to ring and ask.

Parma, Italy to Zeebrugge is 800 miles (about 14 hours easy driving/ fuel stops) give or take. Bologna is 1 hour from Parma.

I do alot of biz around Parma and stay at Hotel BiFi, Casalmaggiore on the River Po, about 15 mins north of Parma/A1 Autostrada exit. Good food and beds. There is/was a Ducati dealer in nearby Cogozzo, I can get you the name and number if you wish?

Many thanks Adi much appreciated Having had a friend drive me around in Sweden in his Ferrari has resolved that fix for me - But as for the the Lambo visit ..........mmmmmm:)
