Following on the success of last year's Maggie's Run (we made over £2000 for the Charity) BADmcc are organising another run this year.
This year's event will be on the 29th of April and will be in aid of the Maggie's Cancer Care Centre in Dundee and also the recently opened MacMillan Hospice in Perth.
We had a good turn out last year with a few DuN members attending who thoroughly enjoyed the day. Let's hope we get as good weather and have such a great run as last year.
See more details here.

I'll be there Derek!

This was a great day out last year, and for a fantastic cause - looking forward to it already

Look forward to seeing you there Scott.

I'd put this event in the calendar but I haven't got permissions :confused:

I'll have to see. I know its a great cause as my mum died of the disease, if I cant make it i'll send a tenner up anyway :)

My monster is going into Duc Glasgow 2moro to be looked at for the over revving problem so if it is back in time I will be there

Derek, had a great day today.Twas a bit chilly at times but the craic and company made up for it.

What a crossection of the motorcycling world.Trikes, Harley Fergusons,Tourers,Sportsbikes you name it.

Count me in next year.:) :)

Echoed here!

Another fantastic day Derek, great route, well organised!

Looking forward to Maggies Run 3

Thanks to Scott, Davieravie, Ranald and Del for coming along on the run and helping to make it a success. We had around 120 bikes and despite the (at times) chilly weather everyone had a great day. The run earned around £1100 for the charity and with donations and sponsorship the club hopes to be able to up that to around £2000.
The only unfortunate incident involved a parking tumble at Powmill where one of the BADmcc members let his bike slip when putting it on the stand bumping the bike next to him which toppled over on to the chairman's Triumph ST Sprint which then fell over on to another bike, which also fell over just missing the Harley next to it or things could have been far worse. As it was Bob, the chairman, had to get recovery as his bike apparently filled the airbox with oil which was then drawn into the cylinders. The bike also has damage to both sides of the fairing, a great big ding in the tank and both panniers damaged. So it might well be a write-off.

Sorry to hear about the Triumph Derek, bloody shame that!

Have you recovered from the underwear tightening you experienced during the raffle??? ;)

Here's a couple of pics from the event - DUN group in confab at Cupar and Ranald's bike at the Maggie's Centre

A big thank you to BADmcc.I recieved a letter of appreciation today for taking part in Maggie's run. What a nice touch.

Thank's again to Derek and all for arranging a great day out.:D :D :D
