Reigning MotoGP World Champion Jorge Lorenzo has resigned himself to the fact he will lose his crown to Marc Marquez this year and says he will now turn his attentions to securing second in the 2013 title fight.

He probably knew it deep down inside, but was not prepared to admit it to himself/man+dog.

I find Lorenzo to be light on bullshit, which is a refreshing change in a professional sportsman.

For all MM's spectacular style and wheel spinning i do wonder if you put Lorenzo on a Honda whether his super smooth style would win ? Personally i think it would, his smooth style still draws out 10-20 seconds most weeks on the Doctors Yamaha. the fact that Lorenzo gets the M1 between those Hondas is a miracle of riding IMHO.
