Laverda Mirage, Wanting SP

Hi to All,

I have come to a conclusion, that I have to sell my last Laverda a mirage. I did not run her very much in the last 2 years, around 100 mile followed by approx 200 mile, she has been fettle'd well and runs a goodin.

The thing is I am a Ducati fan foremost and I am aiming to get a good 851/888 sp version so I am just posting notice in case anyone has any interest in my bike, she is one of 11 bikes that I rotate and each year, my collection has been slimmed down from 16 and may still reduce a little more.
She has a heavy clutch and throttle and I have ment to apply a twin pull throttle with lighter springs but have not got around to it, painted in the most perfect orange and quality is spot on after a full rebuild past 4 or 5 years ago. Done approximately 4k miles since I think, the frame was painted as original and all looks great. I can email photos should anyone wish, next week or even trade up with good SP.

Always love to see picture of any Lav even if I am not seriously interested in buying as like now. :)

However may be worth posting on Lav forums. As long as you ignore the assassination by some of the bike if it is not 100% original you may find a buyer there.

Sounds like a reluctant sale but good luck.
 
I will try and post some photos, next week but on holl's at moment, and been browsing net which has started me thinking, my wife would say not a good thing to do in the sun, as it is taxing at best of time.:)
 
Not this time, not sounding pretentious, but things are tight in the garage and only last weekend I squeezed between to of the bikes to get to the rear chain locks to free them all up :) and my back pressed the SB6r mirrors more than I should of and now have a cracked cockpit fairing, now needing repair Argh!:mad: Sadly no more space. Anyhow multibike ins still running, now I will tax a few bikes, will pick four to play with this year, 6mth. :D
 
Hi All,

A couple of notes to mention, 1st what a great afternoon I had with all at the borders meet (Moffat) It was good to see so many like minded people gathered in one place. Many Thanks.

My Laverda is now sold, after meeting (Mikesps) followed me home to view bike, he liked what her saw and bought her, new home pending, many thanks Mike.

Again I will do my upmost to get to more meetings and look at doing the track day Knockhill.
