I went to the Whanganui Cemetery Circuit many years back, my cousins husband died on a Ducati, not at that race a hasten to add.

We love the boxing day races here in NZ, I have yet to attend ashamedly, but I know a load of people who have and some who go regularly and a couple who race there. Soon we have the classic racing at Fielding, not that far from whanganui. But it is on a racetrack and draws a much bigger crowd. Sadly most of the streetracing in NZ has died out due to spiralling costs, increased safety measures and in one case, bad weather for two years in a row and then covid shutdown…
