Ducati are taking notice, it COULD be an option, an official option, finally after all the backwards and forwards they listen :cool: ;)
 
"God invented red so that Ducatis would be the most beautiful bikes in the world; it’s pretty much as simple as that to me. Only five colors belong on a Ducati: Red (body & or frame), Gold (frame & or wheels), Silver (Frame), Black (wheels), and White (Number plates; and on the older bikes; frame; gives them a nice retro look). Ducati in any other color is just a pretender; like a @@@@@@@ child. You still love it and it does have your blood but it just isn’t legitimate; it’s missing something; it’ll never represent the name; it’ll never be king.

Seen both of these, got to say they both look good in white.... nearly as nice as my white Tech 10's :D

See, it took Jon a while to come round to the idea of White boots, he has taken the plunge now though !
 
Too much like a Jedi Knight for me! The 999 in white though looks pretty cool though have to say!

However Gord, there IS enough white on this bike for me to like it, although as staed on previous threads I am not a lover of the styling, the white version looks the nuts !
 
It would match my Transit Connect too......food for thought

You could write......"I wish my wife was as dirty as this" .....on the tank! :D

...But Nic, Ducatis have only really been overall red since the Cagiva buy out in the '80s. Before that they were all sorts of colours (admittedly some, very unsavoury). I've never owned a red Ducati, in fact one of them (the Pantah)was blue and the Grandady of all the belt driven Ducs that went after it, does that make it a predender?

...I'm not being awkward, just had a long and bad week!!! :)
 
if the black was a gloss black that would be the one for me but not if it was the same black as say the 748 dark/ monster dark. saying that i could actually see myself on the white bike tho id want the 1098 and ducati in red;)

It wouldn't suprise me if the 'any colour you like so long as it's red' was a result of cost cutting and the introduction of the 'dark' range more of the same :D
