I'll make an entry in my filofax ...
Called at my painters today - all done apart from the fairing which is on it's 3rd coat of lacquer and needs painting satin black on the inside... all the font's had to be contracted on the computer as they all appear to be one offs (apart from the Dunlop logo). Even the word Kawasaki didn't use period Kawasaki font

Soooo, having re-shaped / re-constructed the fairing to match the original profile I needed to cut the screen down to suit.
Took advice from my painter and bought a Tamiya Modellers saw rather than attacking it with a hack-saw blade, then carefully cut the excess off and finished off with fine abrasive paper. I used a paper template to match each side.
I had already decided to put the original riders names on the screen and had the decals waiting - so just applied them...
