The song in this video on Instagram got me wondering what it was from, and I found out about the show "Only Fools and Horses". Being in the US, I never did get to see it. Was it decent? Worth looking for episodes to watch?
It was good for the first five series until John Sullivan (the writer) introduced Del Boy's unfunny love interest "Raquel" and later Rodney's even less funny love interest "Cassandra". For me, it went downhill after that

That’s quite often voted the funniest scene of them all. This one was one of the funniest. They did the camera angles nicely so the second chandelier was a surprise.I was waiting for something bad to happen on the way down the ladders!
Nope episodes with uncle Albert are best , during the war
surprised the humor carries to the us tho

That will never translate into AmericanIf you get the time blue roads, The Catherine Tate show is quite funny, just a few examples
It’s an all time classicbut as others have said Brit humour doesn’t always cross the Atlantic well eg Monty Python.
You may like to look up Fawlty Towers as well, another classic.

Those are hilarious! I had seen the translator skit before. Nan is really funny too, I just didn't catch one of the words, "you worry the life out of me, the way you _____ your hair sometimes". What was she saying there?
Titivate, It's like tarting yourself up, to spend too much time and effort on your appearance

British humour at its finest:
I rewatched them all over Xmas. The I.T. Crowd, Matt Berry steals every scene he's in.
I enjoy some British entertainment. The more I hear it the better it gets. Admittedly some British movies just put me to sleep. Sorry. It’s an all time classicbut as others have said Brit humour doesn’t always cross the Atlantic well eg Monty Python.
