Next project is to get the seat cover formed into the original tail unit. I like the lines of the bike and don't want to change them with aftermarket mono conversions. I've seen a few but none seem to really look as good to me as the original, with the exception of the 749 Mono of course.

and the bike overall, I still prefer the standard screen look and will put up with the buffetting for now, form over function and all that ;) The wheels have been neglected over winter but will get a good clean soon enuff. Roll on dry sunny warm riding days :D

AAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH MY EYES LET ME CLAW THEM OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you bad bad bad man

could you do it in white? :D

if you're talking about replacing the things that don't look very pretty, what you doing about the floppy thing holding the bars?

Hmmmm, am tempted to go white ont plastics and tank, was disappointed with the white on the 848, hoped it might be a brilliant flat white. would have to paint frame black and poss wheels for contrast........mmmmmmmm

oh, it had 11k on it when i picked it up, and barely goes more than a couple weeks without doing a 100 or so miles.

Well, been a busy boy today. Took all the plastics and tank off to give it a thoro clean. Sprayed the inside of the OEM screen with 5 coats of gloss black paint to save on buying another replacement, came out really well i think :)

Bought a DIY GRP kit and formed the seat hump thing to the tail unit so no more sticking it dow with insulation tape :) Needs filling in in the gaps and a full back end respray but it can wait.

Scotty, as you see the wheels are now white again ;) and they really are that clean, look stunning.

Decided to leave off the mirrors and blinkers again, much nicer lines without them, just need something to block the holes in the fairing, any ideas?
