It's Official by Bike mag anyway

I love the Supermono - blimey - this was 14 years ago, and I'm still that handsome!!!

...I got to ride this one (well I was pushed along inside the exhibition hall after it had finished!!)
This was a dealer I used to work for in Germany.

aye, that they did. Geoff is 6ft 3, I still have no idea how he managed to get his daddy-long-legs frame tucked up into the Supermono's tiny size!!
What an amazing sound it made! :)

Thats the whole thing with Terblanche's influence, he took big boxy bikes and made them neat and compact, even Honda hadn't really slimmed things down They were working on the first Fireblade ( a bike as innovative as the 916 in many respects) and successfully got the weight down but the bike was still big.

that whole 916 team was amazing really, Sergio Robbiano going on to do the redesign on the Mito and then the new DB5/delirio

I never actually seen or heard a supermono on a track, hardly likely to know most are in Japan, total production was only about 80 bikes i think

Supermono - Production reached 50 bikes by mid 1995, (although 80 engines had been produced), another 20 were produced at the end of 1995, with different plaques.

111mph lap of TT in 1994.
