Re: TT Week 2007 - Ducati Owners Club GB

Just to remind everyone of what's happening at the TT this year.

Sunday 3rd June (Mad Sunday)
The DOC TT Rally takes place at the Waterfall Hotel, Glen Maye, from 11 am to 2 PM.
We will have hordes of Ducatis, trophies, regalia (maybe) and beer. The biggest gathering of Ducatis outside of World Ducati Week is here.

Tuesday 5th June
The DOC's second event of the week is the TT BBQ at the Shore Hotel, Old Laxey, from 7 PM onwards. Ale brewed on the premises, loads of burgers, a riverside location and glorious evening sunshine make this a must for all Ducatisti.
 
Its a shame that this has only just been posted.. I'm booked on the 2am boat from Heysham on the Wednesday 30th May and return on Tuesday 5th June boat leave Douglas at 9am....

Not sure whether I'll make Sunday sadly, although Ben (DM's mechanic) and I will be staying in the same house we're with a group of about 12-15 people and Sunday is a day we usually do nowt with but stay around and about Port Erin/ the sound etc just having a general laugh and p**s take. I'll chat to with him nearer the time and see what he wants to do. Also Mad Sunday will be 33% busier this year so it might be an idea to stay where we are. Hopefully we'll find another time when on the IOM for a beer..

I believe Ray from the DSC will also be around too...
 
There for race week, 2 - 9 June. Staying up in Ramsey, the place has been renamed "Yamsey" :eek: as Yamahahaha have sponsored some events in the town.

Will do me best to get to the DOC meet ups.

Saw some very, very, very nice foreign registered Ducatis today, some in Morecambe and a few on the A65 - must have seen 1000 bikes today, mostly foreign heading for Heysham - have fun folks !
