sorry if its already somewhere on here but does anyone know when the new release date for the 1098 is am looking forward to seeing it in the plastic
 
1098 launch at Ducati Leeds is Saturday 6 Jan Steve, I think me and Linzi will be there, we're trying to get the video they used for the dealer show to show at that launch. its the same day as the Winter Warmer so we'll be heading on to Stockport for the evening
 
Went in today, had a nice chat with Derek and Charlie, yep, 6th Jan is the day, see you then. Apparently they've taken deposits for 17 bikes already...........that's the first six month's allocation sold out - get in the queue now!
 
The 6th is the official UK launch so in theory all dealers will have at least one on the showroom floor and probably some kind of do I'm guessing.

Doubt I'll make it to be honest when I can see one in the evening at the WW courtesy of Martyn @Ducati Mcr
 
Ducati Leeds will be definitely showing the bike on Saturday 6th Jan, food & drink for all. All welcome. If we get a bike before Xmas which is a good possibility, we will have a special viewing evening followed by a few Xmas drinkies in the local hostelries! Again all welcome! Cheers. Derek at DL.
 
M & S Newcastle is also 6th January, spoke to them today and they will all have the bikes before then but Ducati have insisted that they are not shown until the 6th January or so I was told ?

there is a good chance that the stores will have a 1098 before the official launch, like rockjock says demand for 1098 is incredible, we have not sold all our planned order yet but the way it`s going it looks like no dealer will have one in stock unsold till summer. Any road up, I need to plan our next years ride outs, we never seem to go to the N yorks coast, whitby, scarbourgh etc -anybody up for it ?
