I would be interested to know what prices we are paying for insurance because there is a varied mix of ages and bikes. Just looking for some feedback really after receiving my renewal notice from Bennetts....£322 fully comp, roadside ass, legal, puncture etc.
Is this a competative figure in the members opinion's?, do I need to do more shopping about for cheaper deals? or is this about right?
Any feedback welcome.

I got a similiar renewal from Carole Nash of £333 and it was the same with Ducati Ins. too. I then tried Ebike insurance and got about a hundred knocked off. I have changed that to one monster for no charge. A friend of mine who had his TDM knocked over when the North sea ferry docked badly found Ebike very unhelpful when he tied to get the bike recovered home and I think he is still waiting for them to re-imburse him. I will go with CN next time or will try DI again. Cheapest doesn't always mean best! I think your renewal is reasonable considering the bike, it's age and where you live.

Insurance..

Used to be with Bennetts but they were quoting £200+ for tpft.

Changed to Footman James in April 06 - £180 fully comp. including legal protection/Eurpoean breakdown.Recovery.

This is for a '95 900SS.:D :D

I'm with Carol Nash - £350 fully C with breakdown etc. for both Imola and Cali on the same policy - yours doesn't sound too bad

thanks a lot for all your replies so far, its such a minefield sometimes where insurance is concerned. If, like me, you find its a pain in the arse ringing around and repeating the same info or searching online, its just easier to do nowt and let your current insurers renew for you. Sometimes not always best procedure though!
Anyway, I think its an ok quote and will probably accept.....:)

I would try a couple suggested here before you give in! :comp2:

Mick, I was with Groupama via Performance Direct until last Thursday at £158 Fully comp for the year, but this policy only covers non modified bikes.
