Insurance no claims bonus …keeping it going

Hi all, hope ye good and happy new year.

So my no claims bonus will expire in 6 weeks or so, I do not have a bike but have not given up on biking yet, I’m not in a position to buy a bike right now and if I do it will be a green lane type bike, what’s cheapest way to keep no claims entitlement? Cheap bike on minimum cover? A broken bike? It’s not a big deal just seems daft to lose my bonus as it’s probably 10 years plus

Hi Carl,

Good to see you.

I'd buy the cheapest thing you can find and insure it as cheaply as possible as you suggest.

Happy New Year to you too.

Good to see you’re ok DL.

Happy New year DL.

I'm not sure there is a big difference between full no claims and zero for old codgers like us, when I bought the pansexual it was only about £90 fully comp eith zero no claims - similar to my ST4 with full no claims.

But a frame and log book would do it 👍
