I found out today that a great guy and mate was killed recently while at a trackday at Cadwell.
Mark Ward was the guy who raced our TT2 with such success against the likes of my mate Geoff Baines both on TT2s back in the late '80s. We got the TT2 from him back in '01 and I am so glad we kept in his race colours of Minster Garage in Southwell near Newark. He retired from racing a while ago but still loved to thrash a bike around the track.
He died doing what he loved best riding bikes.
The attached pics of me at Cadwell are not to show off my riding prowes, but my way to pay tribute to an alround nice guy who left us all too soon.
