Image dimensions

Is there a size limit on photo's?
I try and resize around the 1920 pixel length but they are scaled down to 1024.
I thought the limit was on file size 4mb?

I've never had to resize any, even from my iPhone 17 - not sure if they auto reduce or not but I just checked one I loaded today and it was 5mb

I normally just click and drag pictures from the source and drag them over to the forum.

I think the forum limit is 5mb, I've had to resize hi-res images before, so the forum would accept

There is no longer an image maximum size (it was 4Mb), all images are automatically changed to a .webp format and drastically reduced in size to save storage space on the server.

You can just upload them in their native size, no need to resize now.
