Mike went on to win 3 Grand Prix in a day at the Dutch, winning the 250, 350 and 500 becoming only the second rider complete this amazing feat, Jim Redman being the other rider.

Also in the picture with the clip board is the iconic figure Aika - San, Honda's Chief Mechanic.

Nope, 16 months from bare frame to completion - it's all documented 😇 and that included designing and manufacturing parts that hadn't been done yet 🤷‍♂️
Where did you buy the bare frame? And who was the manufacturer of these parts?

I'm beginning to speculate now, did I build my 999S? It had a bare frame at some point and it does have manufactured parts.
I wonder how long that took me!

No. all you did was clean it from time to time and fit some cables the wrong way around until help arrived 👀

I remember helping you refine your fitting instructions ... but thanks for not answering my questions. Again.

Where did you buy your frame? Someone else might want to design and build a bike from scratch in sixteen months. It could be helpful to them to know.

Aika-san looks more paki-san than Japanese....
