You do realise it couldn't be any different if it tried - that's a 2 stroke you menk...
And I built my KR1000 in about 16 months![]()
Nope, 16 months from bare frame to completion - it's all documented16 months.
One month in 2009, a month in 2010, a month in 2011, a month in 2012, a month in ...
Tot them all up, comes to ... 16 months!
Where did you buy the bare frame? And who was the manufacturer of these parts?Nope, 16 months from bare frame to completion - it's all documentedand that included designing and manufacturing parts that hadn't been done yet

No. all you did was clean it from time to time and fit some cables the wrong way around until help arrivedWhere did you buy the bare frame? And who was the manufacturer of these parts?
I'm beginning to speculate now, did I build my 999S? It had a bare frame at some point and it does have manufactured parts.
I wonder how long that took me!

Where did you buy your frame? Someone else might want to design and build a bike from scratch in sixteen months. It could be helpful to them to know.

Here's one you made earlier:
Aika-san looks more paki-san than Japanese....Mike Hailwood with the new 350cc Honda 6 at Hockenheim in May 1967.
Agostinis domination of the 350cc class had come to an end.
Mike went on to win 3 Grand Prix in a day at the Dutch, winning the 250, 350 and 500 becoming only the second rider complete this amazing feat, Jim Redman being the other rider.
Also in the picture with the clip board is the iconic figure Aika - San, Honda's Chief Mechanic.
