help, speed triple value

Hi guy's my friend is selling his 1997 speed triple, 26,000 miles, fair condition, could anyone give me an idea of what the value of this bike is? Thinking about it for myself, but know very little about triumphs and what there worth.

97.that would be a T509 ? mate of mine parted with his earlier this year, it was mint and he pulled £1650, but its how much you want it mines a later 1050 but its a fantastic bike

theyve got a nice sound from that engine when you rip them a bit, even on standard cans.

Best thing is to do a Ebay search for completed listings on same model and year, that'll give a good average of what they're currently fetching. It's all market driven and the market for Sellers ain't good right now, price will be better if he can wait till next year, especially just coming into the lousy weather time of year.

Ended up giving the speed triple a miss and bought his 97 t595 intstead, took it a 200 mile run on saturday and really enjoyed it!
