What do I buy the wife, apparently it's got to be either paper, cotton or clocks.

Was thinking of a really nice watch (clocks??!!!!)

Come on, I need ideas.

a ream of A4? a trip to India? a Rolex? Failing that give her a thousand quid and tell her to go to Alabama and buy herself a timeshare!

She's got some
but does she have the ones that come beautifully boxed with champagne, flowers and chocs, romantic meal and lots of money for the spending thereof ???
Thought not as I've heard these are pretty rare but worth searching out
Oh and don't forget the card either ......... 2 out of three ain't bad these days is it :D :D

why not think latterally?? Paper - plant a tree in a local park which you can visit and enjoy watching grow as you age together?? clocks - skiing trip to switzerland and stay in a hotel with a large clock at the entrance?? cotton - I like the buds idea, but something with it.....

i bought my wife nowt for our first anniversary or any of the following ones so far tho we have gone out for the occasional meal to mark it.im with davieon this one, but if you have to get her something give her a fiver.its a mixture of paper and egyptian cotton and she can spend it as well and if you want to be extra sure draw a clock on it

Paul I'm with the get her hee haw team ;)

If you go over the top now you will just pay for it years to come mate cos she'll just expect the same again and again.

Here goes :

Brownie points I understand are points accrued from the wife say for good deeds done which can then be traded for time out on the bike or out with the mates. Its a point scoring system for those who are right under the thumb in order to have a life.

Me ....I just tell her wots happening ;)

...I wouldn't worry about it too much, it's only the first year - wait 'till you get 10 behind you before you start worrying about stuff like that!! ;)

I would take her to the restaurant you both first went to together, so long as it is still there, was a good evening and reasonably close to home:thumbs:
