Anyone else use colloidal silver?

I use is on skin issues; dry patches, grazes - works well for cold sores if you catch them early. I get them if I’m run down - if I feel a tingling I wet it with the colloidal silver then put some sea salt on that, and more often than not it’ll just go away without breaking out.

Anyway, yesterday I stupidly put my hand on a hot hob - burned right across the pad at the base of my fingers and half way up the first two fingers.
I ran it under a tap for about 30 seconds (apparently you should do that for 20 minutes, but I was rushing to get out) then bandaged it - wetting the burned areas with colloidal silver. Then went out.

I hate burns and this was a big one compared to any others I’ve had. It stung like fuck for about an hour and a half, then started easing. Another half an hour and all the pain went away. Apart from one small blister on a finger and very slight reddening where is was burned the worst, there’s nothing to show I’d done it, and zero pain.

The only thing I’d put on it was colloidal silver - I’m amazed.
I’ve just noticed that the bottle says “use by Mar 2020” 😳 - I think I’ll get some more

My wife swears by lavender oil for burns, she burnt her hand the other day, couple of drops and bingo, no pain

Bit gay though 🤔
The burns or the lavender?
Carpet burns sustained during congress between gentlemen and lady persons aren't gay, though I'm told it is possible under the right conditions for gayists to suffer a similar abrasion as well.
However, if we consult the immensely useful reference book The Meaning if Liff - ( The Meaning of Liff - Wikipedia ) we discover that there are friction injuries exclusive to the gaylord community, including the "Queensieburn" - an affliction that can result from a "Fairymount" which is the act of reconciliation after an "Agglethorpe" - a dispute between two poofs in a boutique.

I hope this information has been of use.

Went to the docs yesterday as she wanted to see me re my liver count and high colestrol.
Anyhu, once again she is trying to get me on statins. She asked why im not interested in em, i said i dont think my cholesterol is a problem, many studies have shown no link between high "bad" cholestrol and the usual scary diseases, it just depends on what you chose to believe. She wasnt in agreement. I then told her, one thing i know for sure, if my high cholesterol is a problem its not being caused by a lack of statins. Im not interested in a chemical solution to a physical problem or in something that masks the symptoms but does not cure the problem.
She didnt argue that one but did assure me that statins are 100% safe. Where have i heard that before? Who knows, i may have a heart attack or stroke and wish id have listened to her but for now her and her drugs can fuck right off.

What's your sugar intake like Chiz?

What type would yo recommend as the least harmful?
I'm not an expert but I know one of the worst for sugar content is cider. "Fruit" flavoured ciders are even worse.

Proper traditional ales (ie. not trendy craft ales with added flavourings) and pilsner lagers are pretty low in sugar. And the lower the alcohol content the less sugar.

I used to use Flamazine but found out the makers of it stopped selling it in jan/feb this year so any you find is worth grabbing. (silver sulfadiazine 1% w/w)

Went to the drs today - first time in a while! I was seen by a paramedic in shorts 🤔. Weird painful shin but only when I weight bear on the bone

Anyway he had no idea & said no point booking an xray as it’ll take 12 weeks, they might not give you one anyway & I’m sure it will be better by then 😂

Sounds like it could be shin splints, I had it one-time when I used to go running.

Pretty high id say. I drink alot of beer. I dont drink soft drinks much at all and try to keep carbs low, although in the last few years ive been eating quite a bit of potatoes and pasta.
Never used to. I also have a sweet tooth, i dont do chocolate or sweets but b often makes cookies, pancakes and cakes. My favorite cake is a lemon drizel and i think in the cake and drizel there is a cup of white suger!!! Ive been known to smash half a cake in a day!!!!! She only makes that about once a month and ive told her to stop ( but hope she doesn't).
I dont eat ultra processed foods apart from the odd store bought curry sauce.
I do eat alot of fruit and start the day with a smoothie of banana, orange, greek yogurt and tumeric. Sometimes with apple ar berries. Maybe its the fruit..
