Well the Ghost of Oulton struck today and it got Martin big time, I understand the ghost spooked him around the Druids area and I have photographic evidence of some ghostly goings on around the Lodge area.

Martin has been released from hospital but is spouting some serious shiiiiite, he was re-called after being released having been caught trying to make conversation with a tree in the hospital car park :eek:

Collarbone is bust and helmet is, well, erm - buggered !

Get well soon Martin, you gave us all a scare !

Am I right in thinking there was a fatality there today? I had a garbled message from someone, but it was a "third hand" report. If that is true, it's someone else I know - a young lad I used to teach.

Not that I am aware of today and I was there till the last race was red flagged due to the snow ?
 
ouch Martin, i wouldn't like to see the state of whatever you hit :)

I had the momory loss and concussion bit, Linzi still takes the p!ss 3 years on about me askiing the same questions time after time

Jon and Claire seemed to be in trauma and in need of their own medical assistance after walking in the Medical Centre and finding Martin in his scuds asking if they charged for the drugs !
 
Martin - just had the low down from Jon via telephone mate.

Sounds like you've taken a proper beating today - hope you get well soon fella and you're all properly mended in time for the wedding.

Sadly a young lad died yesterday at the track. I don't know his name sorry.

Edit - lad was called Tom Begin.

Aye the big fella had a big off right in front of both me and Claire exiting Druids in the wet, he was out cold on the grass as I rode past :(

In the medical centre he was his usual happy self although obviously in pain and completely out of it not knowing what happened, where it happened or even that he's getting married in 4 weeks (no change there some may say).

Just got home now after collecting him from hospital and dropping him off, he's still a bit dazed but better than he was.

RJ - Lad died yesterday at Oulton, plus another biker within a mile of Oulton between Oulton and our house :(
 
OMG, Ben Bostrom was there? ;)

Looks like Martin melted a gear lear lever :eek:

and the Picture of Martin is quite spooky :eek:
