Guadix Circuit , Spain - Anyone been ???

apparently it's pretty good, just been resurfaced and had a few corners changed. From reports it's pretty similar to uk tracks but with more sunshine :)
 
Supposedly not a superbike (big bike) track, probably more suited to a 600 than a litre bike
 
It's fuggin amazing!!!!!!!!!

John is right that it's not a Superbike track - to look at - but the BSB boys absolutely love it. All the teams are there this week.

It's perfect for the DD bikes and a 600 would probably be a serious weapon around there.

Fastest overall guy at our winter test was James Parry on his Trumpet 675. Only 3 seconds off the factory teams lap times, and he's a club racer!

Not only is it a great track, but the circuit owner Clive Greenhalgh is a top geezer and makes everyone feel special and really welcome. For an ex-world championship factory driver and circuit owner, he's just one of the lads.

If you get the chance to go - GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's mega. I can't wait to go back.

...and the beer is cheap.

I will post some when they arrive. I was too busy riding and running the timing to take piccies.

It's a very technical track and has lots of gradient changes. It really has everything, fast straights, hairpins, chicanes, fast corners, uphill, downhill - it's mega!

how far is it to ride to from England & whats the best way to drive there ?

just thinking if it would be worth sticking the bikes in the back of the van & doing it that way.

It would be a hell of a drive. Guadix is about 1 hour from the south coast of Spain.

Glasgow to Guadix...

Time: 27h10 including 22h43 on motorways
Distance: 2734km including 2430km on motorways
