Good Paces To Stop - recommended

Is that here? If so, I will go, as this area reminds me of Tuesday night bike runs, when I was at Soton Uni!
No, follow the road to the end of the Spit (by the round castle), park up and walk between the beach and the south side of the buildings.

Here. Good roads around here and very popular with bikers:

Of course you can interject auld lad, next time I'm up your way, I shall try your recommended, sea based comestible emporium. 👀 (y) 😊
For completeness, I totally agree Portsoy ice-cream is well worth the stop, Cullen also offers excellent ice-cream and a nice beach.

Fans of Peaky Blinders could also visit Portsoy's 17th century harbour and revel in the ambience of the final series of Peaky Blinders film set - Canadian Island and Boston prison scenes (all the ones with snow as it was February 2021 and the cast got snowed in, apparently breaking lockdown rules :ROFLMAO:)

Home to 'Cullen Skink'.

We supply Baxters with all their seafood - except the smoked haddock for their Cullen Skink. They buy it from a local firm...we've tried sourcing from loads of suppliers on their request but the Baxter family stick with the guy. Good on them...I wouldn't want to take it away from them.

+1 from me Dox, Baxters factory cafe, the cullen skink is amazing, well worth a stop, just for that. I was told that Baxters get the haddock from Sutherlands in Portsoy, don't know if it's true tho!

It rings a bell...I see they've gone all fancy-shmancy and got a website. A few years ago it was just the old boy.

Whenever we go up, the buyer takes us in the staff shop (at Baxters) - loads of bargains.

Baxters is also highly recommended as a pit stop if you're passing Fochabers 👍

The Owl's Nest, Llandovery, very popular café, lots of bike parking and very good food and drink, ace biking roads all round including the great Black Mountain road, made famous by Top Gear etc. Here's my Monster outside last Sunday.

If you are going anywhere Clacton On sea, there is a bike friendly pub in Great Bentley called The Plough. Wednesday night is normally bike night which normally see's a substantial amount of bikes turn up. Plenty of parking and right near the village green

Another good one in Essex is The Donkey and Buskin, the landlord is a biker
