Hi Martyn,
I'm trying to arrange it, but not 100% sure whether I can. As you no a mutual friend of ours is getting wed on Thursday night and as long as I don't stopover in Liverpool I should be able to make it. I just need to no a time and a place to meet. I can text you on Thursday evening to confirm anyway...

C'mon Martyn, sorry bud not trying to get at you in any way, shape or form but they ain't exactly ideal plans - I know where Glasson is but ain't got a scooby where the Red Lion is, whats your ETA at Glasson Dock ?

That's me confused now also Martyn! Glasson Dock is about 100 miles riding WEST for me, into a foreign count(r)y and I haven't a clue about the riding from there! Yorkshire is to YOUR East, that's RIGHT as you look at the map. Not wishing to hijack the ride or your thread, but it needs to be a little clearer exactly where you're going. Once I get over the border (passports needed?) I will need my hand holding anyway. Willing to tag along to see your riding spots, but the roads I know are when you get over here, starting at about Devil's, Settle, Skipton that sort of area and eastwards from there. Could do with a scenic/sporting route to Ducati Manchester if anybody knows one........

RJ and Dseered if your both coming over let me know I'll arrange to meet you both (although its a straighter route for Ian than RJ, and we'll go straight to the 'Red Lion' pub. Its on the A6 between junc 4 & 5 of the M61. If you come off at junc 5 turn right underneath the motorway upto the next roundabout then left on the A6 (in the Manchester direction). Its about 3 miles down on the left immediately after the traffic lights... Unfortunately Pete the roads to DM aren't as good as the Yorkshire 1's we've ridden. We'd have to go into and over Buxton and over the Cat & Fiddle run (A537?) and then upto Alderley Edge and then via Knutsford etc a good road and ride but a BIG long way round.
N.B. 'Won't be logged onto DUN tonight so give me a call or text on the mob 07796 444996 and we'll catch up'..

I'll wait and see what the full intended route is, later tonight. Otherwise I may take a blast up to 't Lakes and go climbing with my mate and our lad. Do two enjoyable things in the same day. Anyone from this side of the hill fancy that?
