Gone over to the dark side

Been thinking of applying VentureShield to the Dark. However i do not want a gloss finish. Have we any Dark owners that have had this applied?

Found a window of opportunity and actually had my first ride on the 848 on Monday. It may just be me but the Dark handles better than my last one.
The video is poor it was taken on my crap phone.
Notice the rear reflector epic fail.:comp2:

Well done Dunc. :D Hope you had your thermal knickers on.

Try fitting a higher screen. You'll be amazed at the difference it makes.

Or lower screen and higher thermal knickers :0):comp2:

You could try heated knickers - I've got a heated bib and it's a wondeful thing. Given to me by Ian Duffus so I reckon if a guy who rode the TT and Irish Road Races can wear one so can I.:D

Thank you for those warm comments Mary.

Looks like its so cold in Scotland at the mo brrrr the permafrost may have frozen those Midges and they will not effect my Darks paintwork when i take her out for a proper run in the spring.

Called into Ducati Leeds today, the old girl had a sold sticker on the screen. I hope the new owner has as much fun on her in the future as i did in the past. I'am looking forward to my life on the Dark Side. Just love 848's bring it on.

Day off work:p
Sun out
Time to play whoop whoop!!!!!!!!
Bring it on
First proper chance to get the Dark out.
The roads were covered in grit from the last few days of constant rain, my tyres chicken strips looked like chicken fillets.

Guessing by the last photo you were playing on the Woodhead and Snake pass then Dunc :):)

DG its the road from the Woodhead pass down to Glossop. Dunc would've come over the Holme Moss road. Not far from the magical moment that you may have had when we were over that way a few years ago.

:D

Anyway good to catch up and have a chat with you last night Duncan, it had been a while..

Very nice bike:D Is that an R&G clutch cover youve got on it?

It is Chiz and in matt black, nice bit of kit and goes well with the bike.
Have you noticed i've got an 848 with no 848 markings.
Bike could be any Ducati i want it to be, that is talking to those who don't know any better;)
