For sale: 2005 Ducati SS1000 ie

Located near Rugby in the Midlands
I am selling my 2005 Ducati 1000 SS ie due to moving out of the country soon.
8384 miles, 3 former keepers
Only used for leisure since my ownership in July 2018

Oil filter, oil and belts have been changed on the 1st of Feb 26,
MOT due on the 9th of March 2027....a clean pass as expected
All keys, code card, booklets and original tool set included
Chain and sprockets replaced at 6400 miles
Starter and relay replaced at 6800 miles and ExactStart cable fitted at the same time.

She is in overall very good condition for age, however as with all Ducati's of this era she has some flaky paint, the main areas are around the lower & front engine (top yoke also needs a repaint), please look at pictures. Some age related wear & tear, but generally in very good condition for age & would be an easy restore to mint for someone with time.

Asking price reflects condition & rarity, so no silly offers, you will be able to find lots of 750's & 900's, but try to find another 1000 with its unique aluminium swinging arm & full Ohlins suspension.

Oberon open clutch cover, pressure plate and springs, original included
Oberon brake&clutch fluid caps, original included
X2 spare screens
spare Rear pads

I am looking at £3950 with everything included.

That is lovely IMO. I have owned a couple of 900ssie bikes and briefly one of these too. If I was 20 years younger I`d bite your hand off for that but just too uncomfortable for me these days. GLWS.

don't get fooled by the aircooled engines.....with a good chassis and lots of torque, she is surprisingly fast
I had a 900ie, after i did some mods on it it was a great bike. It had two and a half thousand miles on it when i bought it and seventy four thousand when it got written off. Imo one of the best engines Ducati ever made, easy to work on and handles brilliantly!!
