Well as the weather looked good on Wed and i've not had a good blast on the ST2 yet i decided to go for a wee bimble ;).
Quick check o the bike, tightened the slightly slack chain, pulled on the leathers and off we went. Now where to go .
Doune,Callander,Lochearhead,Crainlarich and stop at Tyndrum for a top up,fag and juice. Wee look up the road and it's callin oot to me. Now which way
Off up through Glencoe, weather brill and not a lot of traffic, couple of stops for roadworks but the tyres are gettin scrubbed in noo and the chicken strips thinner,Fort William through in a flash and up to Invergary.
Wee stop for a breather and a fag, where nooo.
Yup off up the A887 passin all that glorious sceanery and onto the A87, love that road but gettin a bit cut up with all the lorries,Shiel bridge and a stop at Eilean Donan castle for a break and some photies, then up to Kyle of Lochalsh.
Gettin a wee bit late for blattin all the way back so headed back to Dornie and booked into the Dornie Hotel, teeny wee village, one hotel, one pub a post office and a village shop but great sceanery.
Few pints o guinness, bar meal in the Clansman, excellent food but pretty empty then collapse for the night.
Now the plan was to head over to Skye the next day and down to Armadale to catch the Mallaig ferry which i did but numpty bollocks here forgot to check if it was runnin. So got there to be told aye but not till 5pm
So quick about turn and blat it back to Tyndrum, filled up at Kyle before headin to Skye, and just got to 5 miles away when the yellow light came on. Love the ST for it's tank range
Back to Callander for a sausage supper and then home.
Great run, brill weather and some nice photies as well and i gave the ST a good blast which it needed, nae deasil, nae incidents and some Duc waves as we flew passed each other.
So here's to a good ridin season and nae accidents folks :D

Nice run Tam, I hope you observed the new speed limits in Glencoe! ;) There is now a 40 limit entering Glencoe village on the A82 which turns to 50 then to the other side of Ballachulish. Kinlochleven road is also now 40 till just past my house! Watch out for Mr Plod in Glencoe Hotel car park. :flash::eek:

Off to Saint Mary's loch now :D

Andy,

That's a bummer about the clutch !. You should have called me and I could have popped along. Duncan and I were fiddling about with the KTM in my garage half expecting you to drop in for a coffee. Never mind.

Hope you get it fixed OK,
