I know we've covered this before but it seems the powers that be are waking up to it. Personally I get it, you see a lid by your hero/like a certain design and you go to recognised retailers and honestly it's shocking.

And then you go on a site not to difficult to find in China and you get
Well Then you see this
My own opinion is I'd rather buy a cheaper official helmet reaching recognised standards than buy a fake with no safety testing.
That said the biggest worry is just how many of those on Ebay were cheap copies bought from China, had a gold sticker put on and then resold as new/new but boxed open/ new but only worn once, at a marked down rrp and the poor purchaser thinks they have a bargain not knowing it's a snyde copy
