Electric Vehicle Stuff

And here we have it 🤣🤣

What a piece of utter shite. And the government expects every one of us to buy Chinese electric cars (built in factories powered by coal-fired power stations and transported half way round the world on diesel ships, of course).

Oops :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Electric van MOT tests now ‘impossible’ to book

Electric versions of regular large vans often fall within the 4.25-tonne derogation rules. It means they are treated as a heavy goods vehicle (HGV) for the MOT. This requires them to be tested at one year old, rather than three.

There are now a growing number of electric vans on UK roads. However, HGV testing capacity is generally very poor, and even fewer test stations are equipped to handle electric vehicles.

Lol... a company founded on a promise of building alternative fuel vehicles, sold the dream and was once valued at 30 billion US dollars, managed to make and sell a total of 300 vehicles before going bust...
Hmmm.... nope, nothing wrong with this world....

There is a chap who has his own you tube channel and he's an independent car dealer in Romiley near Stockport. It's not a bad channel. This particulr purchase was a range rower sport hybrid and highlighted why buying a petrol car is better for the environment.

I worked on that model from 2 years prior to launch until they went on sale

Ex wife number 2, her dad before he passed, had a 1968 mustang for the summer and an old 1973 f150 for the winter. Had them both from only a few years old and apart from servicing the wear and tear items and general maintenance, he never bought another car again.

The dealer who I bought my Freelander 2 from won't take hybrid Landrover or Range Rovers nor the eco-engined 2.0 L Discoveries in part exchange. Won't touch any of them with a barge pole. He said they're nothing but trouble and worthless as a used buy, but he can shift 2.2L FL2's all day long.

🤣🤣🤣🤣

Disappointed with your Tesla? This brand's offering you 5,000 euros to break up with Musk MSN

Haha, don't they realise that more people agree with what they are doing than disagree?

Just because the nutters who seemingly are perfectly happy having their taxes spunked away are getting all the headlines, doesn't mean they are the majority.

The nutters are the tesla owners though 🤣🤣

The brand has set itself the challenge of attracting Tesla's disappointed customers and getting them to invest in their 'equally disappointing' Polestar 3 model.
I was behind some polestar shite on Saturday, no rear window - just a window shaped panel and camera on the roof above it 🤔 glass may me expensive but a camera, surely a panel van would be more useful 🤣🤣

I’m test driving the Q4 tomorrow. Will also be driving the Polestar 3/4 & BMW i4.
Electric all the way baby!
Its getting more expensive each year now so will probably be my last EV.

The car that was in the Kendal Rugby Club accident last week was an i4 - just saying...sounds like a possible 'surge' issue.
