I'm guessing it's Ed's round for the remainder of the month.
Brandy to warm me up as I dry off after the rain soaked ride and a Guinness to follow please.

Hey, I don't do 'heavy & serious' anymore, it uses to much energy!! This forum sometimes lacks humour, this was designed to make people smile, which uses less muscles than frowning which is a well known fact. ;)

...help yourself!!! I'm on red wine - which I can't hardly taste as my hayfever is so bad today!!!

If it is a wind up i am going to hold him down and let Mary rip his F@@@@@ B@@@@ OFF

I did try to suggest it might be a wind up last night.:D

As for doing damage to either of the boys - I wouldn't dream of it - but I could lend you my bloodless emasculators, a much neater and less messy job than ripping.:D

Got to admitt, Twas a good wind up:mad: I even phoned Mary up at Beveridge Park to let her know:eek: Ed you owe me the price of that phone call, It comes to £999.99:whistle:

Yep, common as muck, but BOY, WHAT MUCK :D :D :D Anyway, as Ed will no doubt see, the Easterly has brought in all that sh1t from the North Sea, it's cold and drizzly now.... I'm working in Inverness on Monday, so hopefully it'll blow through for Tue / Wed

there you go guys another clue

Hi Honey I'm Home

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Phew, what a month. Don't know about you lot but I was spending too much "Ducati" time, needed hibernation... I run a colour printing business, we're about to launch a franchise project down south, have now been accredited for FSC and PEFC, began ISO9001 and ISO14001, - and people ask why I went a buried myself in paperwork... By my own admission I had well bitten off more than I could chew. On top of all that, I had a D16RR to run in (job done, tyre replaced), Dr Bob to put through her CBT (job done, bike in place)... it's now time for FUN... off next week - ED, I'm up your way next week !!! Freak, if you read this, is it not just the most amazing thing EVER, I just can't stay off the bloody thing (1000 miles now) ???

good one guys

just catching up this morning after the weekend and really appreciated this one :D :D :D

...you gotta admit Lyn, my bum definately looks not too big for this bike. It fits me like a glove. Can't wait until I get down to Cheshire next week for a thrash on Jon's. Should be run in by then for me to open it up!! ;)

I've gotta say just having the thing sat on my drive was an amazing experience. I've had my hands on and been around some pretty exotic kit in my time both bikes and cars, this bike is doing 200mph just sitting there. It was an honour and pleasure to have it there.
It oozes style and class, the quality of finish, the quality of componentry, the fit of parts together and boy is it small!!
Then I moved it around a bit (purposely) just so that Tracker called Stuart and he had to fire it up for a while!! Great excuse!!! :p
And when he left (after warming it up thoroughly) listening to it accelarate up the Cullicudden straight was one of the most amazing sounds one can hear. I just love it. :)

your going to have to re mortgage yer house then Ed if yer want one:)

...nah, I'll just sell a couple of shares from my vast portfolio. :p

Joking aside, I don't think I'd use mine if I could afford one, which is a paradox I know. I would dress it up in factory racing clothes, fit a set of slicks, carbon discs, works pipes and bung it in a glass case in the lounge. I would want it to look just like this....

I am just enjoying watching other people enjoying them - the Scotts, Mikes, Stuarts and Jons of this world. :)

Oh god no, she thought it was just amazing too. Got me a good wife yer know!! ;) :p

then you told her how much it cost:eek:

oh yes! Didn't even bat an eyelid! My missus has (or had) expensive tastes and was once married to a wealthy man. She also moves in Horsey circles - need I say more!!!! :p

then you told her how much it cost:eek:

Mike C (from the 888 list) has been busy stripping his down. It's interesting to hear what he's found. Here's what he's had to say up 'til now:

"Spent the last 2 hrs trying to get the fuggin panels on the damn thing.

You wouldn't believe the @@@@ I've found, and what it takes to take things off and put them back on this 2008 motorcycle. The 888 is LIGHT YEARS ahead of this thing.

For instance, when one has to drain a cooling system to remove a streering damper.......then this needs to be brought to someone's attention...... and not swept under the PR rug. I will post my letter in so many places it will get through to Ducati in Italy.

There's no doubt in my mind that the person who designed this thing never looked at a 888 or 916 in his life. What a cluster-fcuk !!!!

Have I got a letter for Ducati. Fcuking retards!"

Hmm! Not a happy bunny methinks!

So guys, if you can wait three years to buy one (ie. until the warranty expires), then you just might get a bargain. These bikes may well become hot potatoes for some people. If what Mike says is true, then maybe we'll see them being parked up all over the place and displayed as mere ornaments for fear of people being able to actually use them.

What the @@@@ did he expect?

It's a motogp replica firchrissakes!

Does he also think the suspension is too hard and the exhaust is a bit noisey? :fou:

Ed, so who's is the bike in the snaps you old dog?

I saw that up at DG when I collected mine, No. 749/1500 as I recall.

I think I said in an earlier post. Its Stuart's (Mad Dash). He came to see me on Saturday. I think it's number 490 or 450 or summat. I'm sure He'll confirm what number it is in a subsequent post. :)

Ah I'm getting confused, must be my age I think 751 is SF08AYG

I was gonna say Stu's is SF08AYC. :)

And I set off it's tracker thingy, as I said earlier, just so that he had to fire it up!! :D

...Hey I got one of those tracker things, it's called Cara! but I don't get a phone call, she barks and shows her 1" canines!!! :D
