Here for sale is my very much loved Yamaha RD350LC UK bike with a genuine 700 miles from new. I would say bar a new bike this must be the lowest mileage genuine RD350LC on the market. The bike was bought new from Ham Yam and still has original dealer number plate fitted.www.ebay.co.uk

What’s it like to ride now you’re used to modern machines

Thought they were around 46bhpShit.
But you can't compare it with modern stuff. 65ish BHP that doesn't kick in till 6,000 RPM, brakes that don't work, and a narrow power band.
I still like riding it though, and it looks cool.![]()

Mine was a German import, brought into UK by Roadtrip (off t'other Forum) in the noughties and fully rebuilt over several years - it has matching numbers, but as you can see, is nothing like a standard 350LC. Paul (Roadtrip) has rebuilt a few two strokes over the years. It was registered in UK in 2009 when he finally finished it.
On the UK Registration Doc, it is registered as being new in March 1982.

It has a lot of RGV parts (VJ22) - powder-coated front forks, 17" wheels, swinging arm, plus a Hagon Nitron Sport shocker.
Giuiliari seat, Gibson exhaust system.

Standard 350 LC engine and radiator with plastic cover. Renthal bars. LC headlight with bespoke brackets.

Cost me a 1998 Biposto 748 plus a thick wedge of cash for a mongrel.
I recognised 'em Rob - time you got some better brakes though.......Mine has Gibson's on too Ron (my other one that is). You don't see many about.![]()
Not really - I'm still working and it would only come out on hot days in summer (not many of those in West Yorkshire.)That is lovely Ron, do you ride it much?

My mate has 2 billet 6 pots on hisFunny you should say that.Because of the other stuff I have, I'm a one or two fingered braker, You can't do that on an LC. I went to see a mate and came up behind a car which started to brake, I put my usual two fingers on the brakes and I wasn't slowing down at the rate the car was and the maths in my brain said I was going to go into the back of him, before I came to a stop.
I didn't dare release the brake to get a full four fingers on the lever as I didn't have time in the calculation to do that. I pulled with two fingers with all my might on the wooden brakes and stomped on the rear brake and just managed to pull up in time.
I nearly put a stain on Giuilari seat that day.
Oh, I quite like it being standard (ish)
