It's just an overpriced mess, first registered middle of 2003 so probably crashed and rebuilt with US mirrors off eBay although it's first MOT was a year later than 3 years old...

Great pics to go with the comprehensive description.
Obviously a highly motivated seller.
The pics reflect some one tidy and fastidious, some one who really looks after their possessions....

Never thought of that but highly possible.

If so surly she would have put it at £2000

[pauly]

If it is then @pauly should be able to have a test ride on it now.

I don't think there were any offers when it was listed on ebay and biketrader before. I was going to drive down and see it, but hadn't worked out how I would get it transported home. That and I don't really do online banking. Anyway it's been relisted now. Not sure about the 202mph claim though .

What do you make of this one!!

Maybe she's overheard him bragging to his mates about how much it owes him and has confused that with its actual value.. all she seeing is some new white ware.. looks like she certainly needs a new hoover....

I would correct his opening line to:

Not very special Ducati 996 for sale. Started life as a Biposto hence a run of the mill 996 really

and I would change his asking price to £7,500
